The much-awaited ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to kick off on February 19, with the opening ceremony anticipated to take place in Karachi. The tournament’s inaugural match will feature Pakistan taking on New Zealand in Karachi the same day.
India’s campaign begins a day later, on February 20, against Bangladesh, followed by a game against New Zealand on February 23 in Dubai. The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, newly renovated for the event, will host its first match on February 22, featuring a clash between Australia and England. Pakistan’s second group match is slated for February 24 against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.
One of the marquee encounters of the tournament, the Pakistan vs India match, is scheduled for March 1 in Dubai, attracting significant anticipation. The group stage also includes notable matches such as Afghanistan vs England on February 25 in Lahore, Australia vs South Africa on February 26 in Rawalpindi, and Afghanistan vs Australia on February 28 in Rawalpindi. The final group-stage game will see South Africa and England face off on March 2 in Rawalpindi.

The semi-finals are planned for March 5 and 6, both expected to be held in Pakistan. However, in the event of India qualifying for the semi-finals or final, these matches will take place in Dubai. If India does not progress, the final, scheduled for March 9, will be hosted at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
