LEGEN-Z T10 League: Gibbs, Taylor, Dilshan, Irfan, Yusuf, Finch to Lead Teams in Star-Studded Inaugural Season

The LEGEN-Z T10 League has officially announced its high-profile lineup for its debut season, featuring a blend of international cricketing legends and homegrown Indian talent. South African icons Herschelle Gibbs and Makhaya Ntini, Sri Lankan star Tillakaratne Dilshan, New Zealand veteran Ross Taylor, India’s Irfan and Yusuf Pathan, and former Australian captain Aaron Finch will lead the teams in what promises to be a landmark tournament.

The league, built around the inspiring motto “Gali Se TV Tak” (From the Streets to the Screen), is a celebration of dreams, opportunity, and transformation. It offers a once-in-a-lifetime platform for 74 Indian players, carefully selected from grassroots trials, to play alongside some of their childhood heroes.

โ€œThis league is more than cricketโ€”itโ€™s a dream in action,โ€ said Venkatesh Prasad, Chairman of the LEGEN-Z T10 League and former India pacer. โ€œTo see players like Ross Taylor, Dilshan, and Yusuf Pathan guiding raw Indian talent on the field is exactly what we envisioned.โ€

Founder and CEO Chiranjeev Dubey called the league a platform for undiscovered heroes: โ€œWith legends on board, our mission to elevate gully cricket to the national stage is now a living reality.โ€

Co-founder and CMO Meenakshi Aggarwal added, โ€œWatching boys from local gullies share the field with global legends proves that with the right support, even the most modest beginnings can lead to greatness.โ€

The trials, which drew participants from across India, were lauded for revealing extraordinary talent. โ€œWe were blown away by the energy and skill we saw from every region,โ€ said Surender Agarwal, the leagueโ€™s COO. โ€œIndiaโ€™s streets are full of stars waiting to shine.โ€

Ravikant Bhatt, Chief of the Cricket Advisory Committee, noted, โ€œThese 74 players carry the spirit of Indian tennis ball cricket. They come from places where passion often outweighs resources. Their selection marks the beginning of a new era.โ€
